Meccha Chameleon is a multiplayer casual party game developed by Japanese indie developers lemorion_1224 and Haganeiro. Players take on the role of a white bipedal character acting as either a Hider or a Seeker: Hiders paint themselves to match the colors, textures, and objects around them in an effort to disappear into the environment, while Seekers must carefully scan each stage to spot anything that looks out of place before the timer runs out. Matches support 2 to 10 players in a standard lobby, with rooms accommodating up to 24 depending on the host's connection, and the game includes extra modes such as Infection, where a caught Hider becomes a Seeker, and Double, where every player hides before switching to hunt. Built around observation, positioning, and creativity rather than reflexes, Meccha Chameleon became one of Steam's fastest-selling indie hits, surpassing 3 million copies sold within its first week and later passing 15 million copies sold with a peak of 340,000 concurrent players.
